Client situation :

the technology had been developed into a generic product that had potential in many application areas. Most of the seed funding had been utilized and there was a need to generate revenues in order to gain leverage for fund raising for further development. Priority markets needed to be assessed and a strategy defined to address those markets.

Novoptim contribution :

Novoptim conducted a short and efficient market study that identified 3 priority markets for the company to address with its generic platform. The Novoptim strategy enabled the identification of key opinion leaders and the initiation and implementation of a "Partner Program" for collaborations to develop the applications in the selected areas.

Key achievements :

In total 4 collaborations were established with world-class laboratories in Europe. Based on the market feedback, a clear strategy was created for R&D to develop the generic platform towards specific applications.
